First Post!

_ So, it's finally happening.. Have been saving, planing, talking and dreaming about this trip for 14 years now and the time as come to check out if that place called "somewhere else" is really as fascinatingly wonderful as I hope. My faithful companion J has jumped (or been pulled?) on board earlier this year, so everyone can take a deep breath and stop worrying about me falling into a gorge or something while looking up instead of down.. ;)
